Review - Get Fruity bars in 'Scrumptious Strawberry', 'Moist Mixed Berry' and 'Juicy Apricot, Orange & Ginger' *

I may have officially found the most amazing bars ever, being the extremely yummy Get Fruity wholegrain oat bars in the flavours Scrumptious Strawberry, Moist Mixed Berry and Juicy Apricot, Orange & Ginger! I was very kindly sent these bars by the gorgeous Davina at Get Fruity and I can definitely say that I am a Get Fruity fan and will be purchasing more of these bars!

The Get Fruity bars were invented on a farm in Cornwall by Davina, a trained chef and working mum. These bars are crammed with fruity ingredients, packed with wholegrain oats and made using virgin coconut oil, which is a good fat, which stimulates your metabolism and is converted into energy, so these bars are perfect for a breakfast or lunch snack as they fill you up to the brim!

All the bars are juice infused, and only contain naturally occurring sugars from the fruit, and are all low in salt and a good source of fibre, being made up of wholegrain oats. They are part of your five a day, made with wholegrain oats and have no artificial flavours or colours. These bars are therefore perfect for vegans. The bars are 35g and all contain around 140 calories and have a chewy texture from the oats and are all so moist from the gorgeous fruit juices which the bars are infused with.

The allergy advice at the back of all the bar states that they "contains wheat and gluten. We are a nut free site but our bar may contain traces of nuts and seeds".

Starting off with the Scrumptious Strawberry which is described as "a blend of wholegrain oats with fruit including juice infused strawberries and fruit juice". The bar contains:- oats 42%, fruit 39% (raisins, strawberries infused with fruit juice concentrate 8%, fruit juice concentrate, red grape, white grape, apple & pear juice, strawberry granules 2%), virgin coconut oil, rice starch, colour: carmine, flavour: natural strawberry.

This bar is a deep red in colour and tastes and smells amazing!

This bar contains 143 calories which I think is amazing for a filling snack!

Juicy apricot, orange & ginger is described as "a blend of wholegrain oats with apricots, orange juice and natural ginger flavour". The bar contains:- oats 42%, fruit 39% (apricots 24%, preservative sulphur dioxide, fruit juice concentrate, orange juice 8%, white grape, apple & pear juice), virgin coconut oil, rice starch, colour: mixed carotenes, flavour: natural ginger.

The bar is bright orange in colour and there are actual pieces of apricot and orange within the bar, as you can see from the pictures. I think that these two fruits really compliment each other well with the added ginger!

This bar contains only 135 calories, which is the lightest bar out of them all!

Mixed moist berry is described as "a blend of wholegrain oats with fruit, including fruit infused cranberries, blackcurrants and blackberry juice". This bar contains:- oats 42%, fruit 39% (raisins, cranberries infused with fruit juice concentrate 5%, red grape juice concentrate , blackcurrants infused with fruit juice concentrate 4%, fruit juice concentrate, white grape, apple and pear, blackberry juice concentrate 2%), virgin coconut oil, rice starch, colour: beetroot red, flavour: natural blackberry.

This bar is a deep purple in colour and is my favourite bar out of them all as it has a slightly sharp taste from the cranberries which I love and then is mixed with the sweet taste from the blackberry juice.

This bar contains only 140 calories, which is the second lightest bar at 3 calories less than the Scrumptious Strawberry bar.

It was really hard to choose a favourite flavour out of the three flavours which were sent to me as they are all equally scrummy and all smell AMAZING, but if I had to pick the best in my opinion it would be the Moist Mixed Berry flavour. You can purchase these Get Fruity bars from Amazon (link below), The Eden Project, Rick Steins Deli, Kingsley Village and various wholesalers, such as Plough to Plate, Diverse Fine Foods and Chaffins.

I really urge you all to try these bars as they are amazing and I am thoroughly impressed at these bars but are so moreish so be careful :)!!!!

Have you ever tried any of the Get Fruity bars and what do you think of them? What other healthy bars/snacks would you recommend for me to try?
